CRKN and the ORCID-CA Consortium are pleased to welcome Bishop’s University to the ORCID Canada Consortium!
Bishop’s University is a predominantly residential, mostly undergraduate English-language university based in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Its primary concern is offering students a quality education in fine arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business and education. The residential aspect of its smaller size encourages students to immerse themselves in the complete Bishop’s experience. At its heart is the close interaction between professors and students, within the classroom and beyond, in scholarship, research and creative activity.
Bishop’s University plans to use the integration features of ORCID with their new Institutional Repository. Their goal is to gain information about the university’s researchers’ work while assisting them in disseminating their research and increasing their impact.
Bishop’s University joins over 50 universities, funders, and research organizations from across Canada in ORCID-CA membership. Membership in the ORCID-CA Consortium will allow Bishop’s University to benefit from dedicated bilingual support and resources, participation in the ORCID-CA community of practice, premium Member API credentials, and much more.
